The worst version of yourself is not as far as you think it is.
The worst version of yourself is there, lying in wait for you to give in to it.

The worst version of yourself sells you on comfort.
The worst version of yourself leans in to your fear
The worst version of yourself blunts the edges
The worst version of yourself drops a veil over reality
The worst version of yourself celebrates your conflict-avoidant tendencies

The worst version of yourself is louder than you think
The worst version of yourself is quieter than you think

The worst version of yourself says turn away
The worst version of yourself says focus on self
The worst version of yourself says you can walk alone
The worst version of yourself says you’re more worthy
The worst version of yourself says you’re one of the good ones
The worst version of yourself says you’re better
The worst version of yourself says they should’ve have been better
The worst version of yourself says they should’ve been quiet
The worst version of yourself says protection comes through destruction
The worst version of yourself says the only thing that matters survival

The worst version of yourself is not as far as you think
The worst version of yourself is waiting for you to accept it as good

The worst version of yourself will render you unrecognizable to yourself
The worst version of yourself will demand that you believe the lie
The worst version of yourself says that you can just change what ‘good’ is
The worst version of yourself says you’re good
The worst version of yourself says good is never evil

The worst version of yourself is not as far as you think

Comfortable?
